PROJECT NAME
Salt Tolerant Weeds in Kentucky Bluegrass Crops
CLIENT
Oregon State University
DURATION
4 years
RESOURCES
The effect of salinity on soil and plant health is one of the greatest issues affecting semi-arid and arid climates around the world. When salt tolerant plants (halophytes) are able to invade and outcompete salt sensitive plants (glycophytes) in a cropping system, the halophytes become problematic weeds.
