Over 5 years of on-farm research has resulted in a number of projects across the Province. On-farm research is Producer led and follows the principles of experimental design but it not meant to be published literature; it is meant to answer specific questions about farm production and guide the Producer towards more sustainable practices.
Agrowest Consulting Scientists have been re-igniting the practice of on-farm research; only this time, the farmers are taking the lead on conducting the research! Through a number of training programs; across a variety of industry sectors, we are training farmers to conduct their own farm specific research to create a more resilient and diverse farming industry in the face of uncertain climate and market demands
