Grassland Restoration

Restoration of delicate grassland ecosystems often involves a heavy focus in invasive species control and reducing disturbance. When developing restoration plans the challenge can be to determine how to control the invasive plants that will inevitably try to colonize the restoration site. Also, it is critical to create the conditions that favour desirable species and prevent further degredation.
